I Was Born with a Choice

Many people believe that life is how you make it - that it's you who controls your life; it's you who makes your world go round; it's all on you. Everything happens out of your choices. You do this because you have chosen to do so, you feel like that because you have chosen to feel so. Who you are right now is who you have chosen to be.

I have read an article entitled, "Yes, gay is a choice. Get over it." This is an article written by Robert Oscar Lopez. Obviously, it's about sexuality being a choice. He wrote about how impossible for sexuality being genetic:

"Crystal Dixon pointed out that no amount of peer-reviewed research can disprove. Gay is not the new black. "Gay" is about sex and genitalia. People we call "gay" make choices about what they do with their genitals; blacks do not make choices about the color of their skin. Period."

The write-up also tells about his experiences on how people are able to choose their sexuality, because he himself have chosen whom to be attracted to and how to act like.

Our choices could result to happiness or grief. This is something we are never sure of, which makes it hard for us to decide, wanting everything to go our way. We may not be able to control everything that is happening in this world, but the only thing that we can fully control is ourselves.
